2013 was a year for parties in my house. I hosted several parties, from Easter, to my niece’s baby shower in June, to my Aunt’s 70th birthday party, to Christmas, and several in between. It was a great year for celebrating and spending time with family and friends!
I’ve determined that 2014 will be the “Year of Gettin’ Stuff Done”! We already have a couple of home repairs lined up starting in January. I’m going to be working hard on a minor backyard redo; I’ll be focusing more on doing!
With that, I’d like to share with you, my 9 most popular recipes & posts from 2013 determined by pageviews.
Black Bean Sweet Potato Enchiladas made using my favorite Roasted Sweet Potatoes and a super quick enchilada sauce. These were a favorite because of how yummy and healthy they are. Perfect for lunch or dinner.
Pizza Puffs were a recent recipe (added in mid October), but with their fun size and tasty fillings, I can see why these made it into the top pageviews for the year. These are a favorite in my household too; I make them all the time for Happy Hours and parties.
Dirty Chai Spiced Fudge. 2013 was definitely the year that I was pretty-much obsessed with Dirty Chai. The “Dirty” part refers to espresso in the chai. And, these sweet little nibbles are a perfect not too sweet, rich, warm and spicy treat.
Brown Rice Veggie Soup. Super yummy. Really simple. Healthy. And, filled with veggies. Everything I want in a soup!

Roasted Cranberry Sauce. This roasted cranberry sauce is awesome! Super easy and full of flavor. Great for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. But, you know, with it being so easy, you could totally make this any time of year; just use frozen cranberries in place of fresh, and you have yourself a great side or sandwich topper!
Homemade Roasted “Sun” Dried Tomatoes and a recipe for Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Pasta Homemade Sun Dried Tomatoes are super easy to make. And, they’re full of rich flavor. Of course, the fact that making your own is also budget-friendly rocks! And, once you’ve made your own sun-dried tomatoes, there’s a recipe for an easy and delish Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Pasta. Yum!
