Debi's Flaming' Hot Sauce

  • 1 red aji chili habenero, or red jalapeno, optional depending on how hot you want it
  • ½ cup vegetable broth
  • juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoon chipotle paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons honey or maple syrup


  1. Remove the stem of the chile pepper. Blend all ingredients, including the seeds of the chile, in a blender until smooth and well incorporated.
  2. Eat on everything!
