Make your own Carrageenan
Did you know that you can make Carrageenan in your own kitchen. It just takes a couple ingredients. Carrageenan is a plant-based thickener that can replace gelatin in foods and other products.

Red seaweed
salt
alcohol
Instructions
Cook the seaweed with a little salt, adding a bit of alcohol and then mixing it in a household blender to release the natural carrageenan.
