Ingredients

Dry Herb Mix

  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

Make dry herb mix

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a ziptop bag or jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake well to combine. This may be kept in the cupboard until you're ready to make some dressing.

Make dressing

  1. Combine 2 tablespoons dry herb mix to ½ cup vinegar and 2/3 cup oil in a dressing container or jar. Shake or stir well to combine. Serve over salad.

Recipe makes dry herb mix that can be stored in the cupboard or given as a gift, and can then be added to oil and vinegar for a dressing.
