Onion Soup Mix Dip from Scratch

This dip is great, just like I remember the packaged stuff tasting, but vegetarian, gluten-free, and no weird ingredients. Use the servings slider to adjust the number of servings and the ingredient amounts.

  • ¼ cup dry onion flakes
  • 1 ½ teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 container 16 ounces sour cream


  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, and mix well. Refrigerate for an hour, or overnight, to allow the flavors to get to know each other.
