5fresh lemon thyme or regular thyme springs
1 ¼ouncesScotch Whisky I used Magnus
1ouncefresh lemon juice
¾ounceblackberry or vanilla simple syrup
2ouncessoda water or sparkling water
Muddle the cherries and thyme springs in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, Scotch, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake.
Strain the cocktail into a Collins glass or a wine glass over ice, and top with soda water.
