Ingredients

  • half of a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon mild tasting honey
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • water

Instructions

Microwave:

  1. Squeeze half a lemon into a mug. Add about 1 teaspoon of a mild flavored honey (can be more or less according to your tastes). Add a dash of cayenne pepper. Fill the remainder of the mug with filtered water, and microwave 1 minute until hot.

Stovetop:

  1. Place a kettle with water on the stove on high heat. Bring water to almost a boil. While water heats, squeeze half a lemon into a mug. Add about 1 teaspoon of a mild flavored honey (can be more or less according to your tastes). Add a dash of cayenne pepper. Fill the remainder of the mug with the hot water.
