Honey Orange Roasted Broccoli is a great quick and easy side dish for Asian food night. Nicely roasted bites of broccoli with slightly bitter edges bathed in a sweet honey orange sauce.
Cut the broccoli into florets with 2 inches of stem, and toss with olive oil. Pour the coated broccoli out on a large baking sheet that’s been covered with parchment paper. Bake until tender crisp with some blackened edges, about 10 minutes.
While the broccoli bakes, place the remaining ingredients (orange zest, orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic powder, and salt) in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, and cook, until thickened, about 2 minutes.
Drizzle honey orange sauce over roasted broccoli, and serve hot.
