Orange lovers, you’re in for a treat. This light and moist Orange Marmalade Bread is delicious as is, slathered with butter, or drizzled with maple icing.
Lightly spray a 4x8-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients: both flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well.
In a smaller bowl, combine remaining bread ingredients (egg whites through orange extract). Beat with a fork or whisk until well combined. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing until all ingredients are moistened. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean.
Cool in pan 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack to finish cooling.
Make maple icing:
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and maple syrup together until smooth.
Drizzle over cooled bread, or pour over the top, using as much or as little as you like.
