These Cheesy Stuffed Pizza Sticks with just 3-ingredients come together so quickly and easily without any fuss. They’re a super fun snack and perfect for your next tailgating party, happy hour, or after school snack.
Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until very flat. Spread ½ to 1 tablespoon pizza sauce over the surface of the bread, leaving a small strip of bread without any sauce.
Sprinkle about 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella over the sauce, being careful not to overfill the Pizza Stick. Starting at the filled end of the slice, roll the filled slice up into a tight roll. With wet fingers, lightly moisten the bread end of the slice, and press the bread firmly to the other side to seal the roll.
Oven method:
Preheat oven to 425° F.
Place the rolls on a parchment paper or silpat lined cookie sheet, and bake at 425° F 10-14 minutes, or until Pizza Sticks have browned a bit and the cheese is starting to look melty.
Serve pizza sticks with additional Pizza Sauce or ranch for dipping.
Stove top method:
Heat a couple tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the pizza sticks in the butter once it’s barely sizzling. Using a spatula, roll them around in the butter. Gently flip and roll until all sides are golden brown and cheese is melty.
Serve pizza sticks with additional Pizza Sauce or ranch for dipping.
Notes
Recipe makes 6 pizza sticks, though you could make as many or as few as you wanted. Sizes of bread slices will vary, so use your best judgement on the amount of fillings in each slice. Try not to overfill.
