Place cocoa powder and 1 tablespoon peppermint syrup in the bottom of a large mug or mixing cup, and stir together to make a paste like mud. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon peppermint syrup and mix in well. Add in the milk and stir well.
If you’d like your drink hot, microwave milk mixture on high 30-60 seconds, or until hot. Pour in coffee, and stir to combine.
If you’d like your drink iced, do not microwave the milk, simply stir cold milk and coffee into the syrup, and pour over ice.
Top with whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
