Air Fryer Avocado Fries Served with Cheesecake Factory Copycat Tamarind-Cashew Dipping Sauce
This irresistible combination of crispy and golden on the outside, warm and soft on the inside is the ultimate air fryer indulgence. Then, pair these crunchy snacks with this tangy, kicky, sweet sauce, and these Air Fryer Avocado Fries are next-level good.
Stir together vinegars, tamarind paste, honey, sugar, and saffron or turmeric in a small microwave safe bowl, and microwave for 1 minute. Stir until tamarind and sugar are dissolved.
In a blender, puree tamarind mixture, garlic, pepper, cumin, olive oil, green onions, cilantro, and cashews. Pour mixture into a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Avocado fries:
Place flour in a shallow bowl.
Crack eggs into another shallow bowl, and beat until combined.
In a third shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Cut the avocado 1-inch thick slices, usually about 4 slices per avocado half, and use a spoon to scrape the back of the skin to remove the avocado from the skin.
Dredge each avocado wedge in the flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the breadcrumbs into the avocado slice.
Preheat on the Air Fryer to 400° F.
Place the avocado fries into the preheated air fryer basket, spray with cooking spray, and cook at 400°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through cooking time and spray with more cooking spray.
Serve with Tamarind-Cashew Dipping Sauce on the side for dipping.
