Philz Iced Mint Mojito is a refreshing non-alcoholic drink combining coffee, fresh mint leaves, sweet brown sugar, and creamy cold foam. It’s the ultimate afternoon pick-me-up, and it’s amazingly delicious!
¾cupstrong brewed coffeeat room temperature or cold
⅓cupheavy cream
Ice
Instructions
Place 2 mint sprigs with the stems still attached in the bottom of the cup. Most of the mint flavor comes from the stems, not the leaves.
Add brown sugar.
Add just a bit of boiling water. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, pound the mint leaves to release all of their flavor. You don't want to twist the muddler, as you'll tear the leaves and get leaf bits floating around your drink.
Add a bit of the coffee and stir to make sure the sugar mixes in well. Add the ice and the rest of the coffee.
Shake the heavy cream in the container, a mason jar, or a cocktail shaker vigorously for about 10 seconds to get it nice and foamy.
Add cold foam cream into the glass, stir until blended.
You can also make it “upside down” and add the cream first, then the coffee and ice so that it stirs itself a bit as you add the coffee.
Garnish with a mint sprig.
