I have a great giveaway for you! One lucky winner will get a copy of the cookbook, Ashley Schoenith’s The Heirloomed Kitchen: Made-from-Scratch Recipes to Gather Around for Generations. We’re headed into the new year, and maybe you’d like to get back to your roots, back to some simple home cooked meals, to the home hearth and family that you love.

This beautiful book will help you. It instantly invokes memories of your grandmother’s kitchen with delicious made-from-scratch meals and stunning photography that has a warm cozy hygge feel to it.

Scroll down to the Rafflecopter widget below to enter! The publisher gave me a copy of this book, but all my opinions are my own.

We appreciate you

The Heirloomed Kitchen

Ashley Schoenith’s {affiliate link} The Heirloomed Kitchen is a slow-paced and elegant cookbook that you can leisurely leaf through while feeling like you’re looking through one of Grandma’s hand-me down books.

The book starts out with some helpful sections like kitchen essentials with suggestions on tools, equipment, and dishes. It’s helpful for beginning cooks by diving into some cooking basics like how to flour a cake pan and how to separate an egg. And it helps out with some handy conversion charts for metric & standard.

There are so many recipes to choose from, more than 100 of them! With family meals from breakfasts, appetizers, soups, salads, main dishes, sides, desserts, special holiday gatherings, and, classic drinks.

When I have my kitchen back, I’ll be trying the White Cheddar and Herbed Pimiento Cheese (which makes a great gift as well), the Mussels in White Wine-Butter Sauce, and for sure the Toffee Bars.

There are lots of classic southern recipes, too, like Buttermilk Biscuits, Fried Green Tomatoes, Chicken and Dumplings, St. George Island Shrimp and Grits, Cornmeal-Fried Okra, Banana Pudding Cups, Wild Strawberry Shortcakes, Derby Mint Juleps, and Back Porch Sun Tea

Think of this beautiful cookbook with lots of Southern hospitality and nostalgia as introduction to cooking good old-fashioned food and living a simpler life.
