At the beginning of February, I gave all kinds of tips and tricks for playing SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® Collect & Win Game featuring MONOPOLY at Vons.

And, can I just say how much fun I’m having now that I know all about the game!

Vons

You guys know that I love my Vons, and I talk about them all the time. The cashiers all know me by name. They ask how I’m doing. I even share with them when I win cool prizes from their in-store games.

I wanted to share some of the great products that I got at my last shopping trip. All of these are participating in this year’s MONOPOLY Collect & Win game.

You can get products that will help get dinner on the table. You can get snacks. You can get help with breakfast. It seems like everywhere I turn in the store, I find some other great product participating in the MONOPOLY Collect & Win game.

I love winning free stuff and discovering new products!

I’ve already won a free loaf of bread, a free doughnut, $7 off my next shopping trip, and a grocery store gift card!

I’ve also gotten several discount coupons. And the cool thing is, when you get one of these coupons for money off a future purchase, you’ll get another ticket when you buy that product. It’s a total win-win! Money off and more tickets with a chance to win big!

Prizes I’m most excited about

Well, of course I want to win that big prize of $1 million! But, I’d also love to win a $1,000 cash daily sweepstakes. I enter almost every day! And that $1,000 grocery gift card prize really appeals to me!

General tips on how to play

Head over to your local Vons for your groceries. While you’re there, make sure to pick up a free MONOPOLY Collect & Win game board.

Each time you make a purchase from now until May 7, 2019, you’ll get a game ticket. Plus, you’ll get a bonus game ticket for each purchase of a specially tagged product.

Just check on the shelf below the product to see if it’s a participating product.

Get those tickets

Receive a game ticket:

1. with each purchase in-store
2. for each participating product purchased in-store
3. for every ten (10) participating bonus products purchased in one transaction in-store

How to Play

Tear off the two perforated edges of the ticket.

Inside the ticket, find either

1) a special discount offer (coupon)

2) online game code

3) or an instant winner of free product, cash, or gift card; or two free game tickets coupon

Also inside are four game markers (or tokens), designed to affix to the game board.

Next, let’s talk about each of those items:

1) Special discount offer (coupons)

I love the discount offers or coupons so I can save money.

And like I said, when you get a coupon and use it, it’ll be for a participating product. That means you’ll get a bonus ticket with your next purchase.

2) MONOPOLY online game code

If your ticket contains a game code, you can type the code in online at their official website using your Just for U account.

Or, use the Shop, Play, Win App to scan the code. The app will tell you if you’ve won something.

You’ve gotten the Shop, Play, Win App, right? It allows you to play the online sweepstakes for additional opportunities to win. It’s also there to scan/redeem codes and track tickets.

3) Instant winner of free product, cash, or gift card

I love getting these because often I get to try new foods, which I end up really loving, or I’ve gotten free items from throughout the store that I already love and would buy anyway.

This year I’ve won a loaf of bread, a beverage, and a bagel or doughnut.

Of course, winning cash or gift cards rocks, too! It’s a big rush to open your ticket and see that you won a gift card!

Game markers or tokens

Use the game markers to fill in the MONOPOLY Collect & Win game board. Moisten the glue strip on the back of the official game markers. Then, place the game marker on the corresponding matching space on the official game board.

Collect all game markers printed under the prize and win that prize (subject to verification).

You can also use the SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® app to track your game marker codes for you, making it really easy to track your play.

Once all of the game pieces are affixed to the game board, hop online or on the Shop, Play, Win App to enter or scan the online codes and see what you’ve won.

Find the 2-D square barcode on the back of the tokens portion of the game ticket. Scan that barcode with the SHOP, PLAY, WIN!® app to help keep track of the four game markers from that ticket. 

Be sure to save the original game markers so that your prizes can be verified.
