Have I mentioned how excited I am for football season to start?!?! Oh, yeah, I probably have. It’s been far too long of an off-season. I mean, what’s a girl to do if there’s no football on? Thus, comes my celebratory Seahawks Breeze Cocktail in celebration of the start of football season!

recipe development
When I first thought of making a Seahawks cocktail I considered using Midori and Blue Curacao, but though the colors are perfect, I thought it might just be a bit too sweet.
So, I did a little research and found this lovely Seahawks Breeze Cocktail from BevMo.
I like that it has limoncello in it, because limoncello is probably my favorite liqueur.
Funny though, when I asked the BevMo worker where the limoncello was in the store, he asked me, “what’s limoncello?”.
Now, in case you aren’t familiar with limoncello, it’s an Italian lemon flavored alcoholic drink, that’s traditionally served chilled as an after-dinner digestif, or to aid digestion.
In that case, it can be simply poured over ice and enjoyed.
I love the pretty color of this drink.
And I also love that this drink is served in a tumbler and not a cocktail glass.
I mean who needs a fancy glass if you’re watching the game and cheering for your team!
Go Hawks!
Oh and Go Hawks! If you’d like to leave me a comment with the name of your favorite team, I’d love to hear them.

I don’t know anything about football (sorry), but I do know a lot about Limoncello and how much I love it and this is my kind of drink.
