Air Fryer & Pressure Cooker Recipes

I have quite a few Air Fryer & Pressure Cooker Recipes now, so I decided it was time to create a page where you could find them all along with some tips, tricks, and hints!

Air Fryer Recipes

I love the ease of the Air Fryer so much.

It’s like this little super powerful mini oven that uses very little electricity compared to the big oven. It’s also much faster than the oven – both in waiting for it to preheat, and in waiting for it to cook/bake whatever’s inside.

The air fryer can do just about anything! Here are some great ideas for you.

1. Roasted veggies

I’m a huge fan of roasting veggies in the air fryer. It’s faster than the oven and they get all crispy and nice! Try green beans, butternut squash, snap peas, asparagus, zucchini, Air Fryer Ratatouille Gnocchi, cauliflower, broccoli …even radishes. A spritz of cooking spray beforehand, a dash of herbs, and maybe some grated cheese when they come out. Then watch them disappear.

2. Egg roll wrappers

If you have leftover egg roll wrappers after making those tasty finger foods, air fryer vegetable egg rolls, southwestern egg rolls, or mac & cheese egg rolls, fry them up in your air fryer! Fill the wrappers with savory or sweet fillings. Or, just cut them in strips and air-fry them plain. Or make a sweet treat with a dusting of powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.

3. Make chips

Air fryers can turn just about anything into a crispy snack. Of course, there’s the traditional tortilla chip. But getting creative with fruits and veggies is another fun way to use the AF. Get a good mandolin and cut some root vegetables into paper-thin rounds — try carrots, parsnips, beets, sweet potatoes, and taro — and air fry those babies! Give some fruit chips a try – apple, pear chips, banana. You’ve seen those kale chips at the store. Make them at home and save money.

4. Pasta

Many kinds of pasta can be transformed into crispy nibbles with your air fryer. Try air frying tortellini. Plain pasta, ravioli, even gnocchi. And don’t forget the marinara to dip them in.

5. State Fair food

All those deep-fried option at the state fair can be made at home with a LOT fewer calories. Make some fried cheese, avocado fries, or fried Oreos. You’ve seen those breaded and fried pickles. Now make them at home. Pat the pickles dry with a paper towel, dip them in egg wash, then breadcrumbs or flour, and season a bit. Air fryer corn on the cob comes out perfectly!

6. Jerky

Take some super-thin strips of beef, turkey, or salmon and marinate them overnight in your favorite marinade (teriyaki, salty, Korean, sweet, spicy, smoked, etc.). Then pop them in your air fryer and cook low and slow. Tofu or mushrooms can also be ‘made into jerky for us vegetarians!

7. Desserts galore

Have you tried making dessert in the air fryer yet? It’s all the rage. Cookies, brownies, air fried donuts. Check out Pinterest for lots of recipes for baked goods like pies, cakes, and bread pudding.

8. Start the day off right

You can whip up some breakfast options. Make up a batch of perfect “hard-boiled” eggs. Fluffy omelets are a breeze. Hint: prepare the omelet mixture with all the chopped veggies the night before. Cook the bacon or sausage in the air fryer. Air fryer potatoes are a great breakfast option.
