This Lavender Lemon Drop Mocktail is bright, nicely floral, and easy to make at home. Fresh tart lemon juice and lavender simple syrup create a balanced drink that works so well as a non-alcoholic mocktail (or even a cocktail if you prefer). It’s refreshing, not overly sweet, and perfect for everything from casual evenings to special gatherings.
The Lavender Lemon Drop Mocktail is a variation of the classic lemon drop martini, featuring the tartness of lemon juice combined with the floral notes of lavender simple syrup. This Non-Alcoholic Lemon Drop drink was one of the most popular mocktails of 2025, according to Google.

Mocktails
Did you know that mocktails, including lavender lemon-inspired ones, are rapidly growing in popularity, especially among health-conscious drinkers, sober-curious crowds, and younger consumers. Mocktail mentions on menus and social discussions have surged notably in recent years, even outpacing cocktail talk on social media trends.
I have a bunch of great mocktails that you’ll love. Try my Ginger Mocktail, Cherry Lime Mocktail, and The Lavender Collins. Also check out the Espresso Martini Mocktail.
Lavender Simple Syrup
You can use store bought lavender simple syrup for convenience, or make your own lavender simple syrup.
If you’re making your own lavender syrup, be sure to use food grade lavender only.
Simply take the ingredients except the food coloring:
· 1 ½ cups sugar
· 1 cup water
· 1 tablespoon dried lavender
· 1 drop of purple or violet food coloring optional
And place them in a medium pot, cover, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, and simmer with the lid on for about 10 minutes. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer. Stir in the food coloring if you like. Store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid in the fridge.

Recipe notes
This Lavender Mocktail Recipe is perfect for spring or summer sipping, works beautifully for bridal showers, garden parties, Easter, or anytime you want a refreshing citrus cocktail with floral flair.
Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
This craft cocktail is lightly sweet without added sugar on the rim, but you can sugar-rim the glass if desired. I skip the traditional sugar rim here because the lavender simple syrup provides enough sweetness on its own, and many people prefer lighter, less sugary drinks. That said, a sugar-rimmed glass can be a lovely option for a more classic lemon drop experience.

It’s typically served straight up (with no ice) and is delicious when it’s nice and cold after being shaken with ice. But no one says you have to serve it that way, feel free to pour yours over ice and enjoy it that way if you like (it’s way easier and faster to make).
If you want your drink to be less sweet, add ½ ounce more lemon juice or use ½ ounce less lavender simple syrup.
Don’t overdo the lavender: Lavender syrup should be subtle—too much can taste soapy.

What is Seedlip Grove 42?
You’ll see I’ve used Seedlip Grove 42 in my drink. It’s a zero-proof spirit with layered citrus and botanical notes. I really love this brand (and no, they aren’t paying me to say that). You can see I also used their Garden 108 in my Pineapple Mint Mocktail.
This spirit brings a sophisticated citrus-forward base to this Lavender Lemon Drop, making it an ideal choice for non-alcoholic cocktails that still feel special. Distilled with Mediterranean orange, blood orange, mandarin, lemon peel, ginger, and lemongrass, it adds complexity without alcohol, sugar, or calories.
Yes, you read that correctly, no sugar and no calories!
And the orange flavor is surprisingly good in lattes!
Changes to the recipe
You can always change up a drink and make it your own.
For a fizzy and lighter drink, use lemonade, lavender syrup, and sparkling water.
Add blue butterfly pea flower powder to make a color change from blue to purple when lemon juice is introduced. Check out my Galaxy Lemonades for inspiration.
Honey or maple syrup can be used as an alternative sweetener in the syrup.

Debi
A fun fruity drink. The Lemon Drop Martini, but make it lavender, and make it with no alcohol. I hope you love it as much as I do. Debi, author, Life Currents
