Winning Tailgate Desserts to pack for a sweet game day! Since it’s football season, and since we do tailgating snacks month each year (which generally includes one sweet treat to end the month), I thought I’d share a collection of all the delicious desserts that would be exciting to serve at your next football bash!

I have a bunch of fun tailgating menus from all the years of tailgating snacks months.

What is a tailgate dessert?

I think a football dessert or tailgate dessert needs to be fun flavors. Think peanut butter, toffee, chocolate, pretzels, caramel, even sweet and salty flavors come to mind.

They also need to be easy to pack up and easy to share with a crowd. Pre-made desserts are a must – nothing that you have to fuss over to serve up. And, hand-held goodies have high priority.

This means things like cookies, bars, and brownies have the green light!

And, if it’s a no bake treat that easy to make, well those make the list too!
