How to make

Easy Acorn Donut Holes are a fun fall project and cute autumn dessert that’s full of seasonal charm and whimsy. They’re made with pre-made store-bought donut holes, fall colored sprinkles, and stick pretzels That’s it! It’s a fun treat that will welcome fall and the whole family can get in on making and eating.

Bite-sized doughnuts turned into acorns are the perfect fall treat recipe.

First, you’ll want to gather up the ingredients.

Plain donut holes. You can purchase the donut holes at any local donut shop for fresh doughnuts, or you should be able to find prepackaged donut holes in the bakery section of your local grocery store.

Chocolate. I prefer to use chocolate chips; they are easy to measure, readily available, and tasty. For large pieces of chocolate, make sure to chop them up into smaller pieces. This will help it melt faster and more evenly. Nutella or chocolate frosting can be used in place of melted chocolate.

Pretzel Sticks: If the pretzel sticks are longer, begin by snapping them into smaller pieces.

Chocolate sprinkles. Also called jimmies. You can also use fall colored sprinkles like this assortment or this autumn leaves mix as well.
