Blue Cheese Sauce to top off Broccoli Week on the blog! Well, I had to bring you something extra tasty because my husband kept saying that Broccoli week was far too healthy! Last week I brought you two great new Broccoli recipes: Grilled Garlicky Broccoli and Caramelized Broccoli.

Blue Cheese Sauce is rich and creamy and perfect for topping veggies!
Simple steamed broccoli gets a fancy treatment with Blue Cheese Sauce which makes even picky eaters happy!

If you like Blue Cheese, you’ll love this sauce! It’s rich and creamy without being too heavy. Just the right balance of flavors. If you’re like me, you’d be inclined to just leave that little teaspoon of oil out of the recipe. I highly recommend you use it in this! It just rounds out the sauce and makes it a little extra creamy! So, go ahead, it’s fine to use it!

Blue Cheese Sauce is perfect for dipping as well!

This Blue Cheese Sauce can either be poured directly over whatever you’re serving, think veggies like broccoli and carrots, baked potatoes, steak, burgers. Or, this Blue Cheese Sauce can be served as a dipping sauce on the side, try it with fresh veggies, crackers, or bread. Either way, you’ll be really happy with it.

Blue Cheese Sauce is great to dress up veggies and make them something special!

Cambozola Triple Cream Soft Ripened Blue Cheese

This is the blue cheese I prefer for my Blue Cheese Sauce

I love blue cheese, but I definitely have my favorite kind. I get this Cambozola Triple Cream Soft Ripened Blue Cheese at Trader Joe’s. It’s a really nice creamy blue cheese that isn’t too harsh. I know some blue cheeses can be really overwhelming and pungent, even to the point that you don’t want to eat them. So, I recommend that you go with your favorite blue cheese, or if you can find this kind, do give it a go. I love it!

Blue Cheese Sauce that everyone will LOVE!

I can imagine myself putting this ontop of absolutely everything!! It looks dangerously delicious! 🙂 I’m going to keep an eye out for the triple cream blue cheese too – I think I might like it more than regular blue cheese (I like that it’s creamier than the regular!)
