These Stuffed Stuff Recipes feature fillings that can be vegetables, grains, cheese, proteins, shrimp, meats, sauces, or anything else you can dream up. One of the easiest and yummiest ways to get dinner on the table is to stuff one tasty food with another equally (or even more delicious) food. You just can’t go wrong with one food stuffed into another.

The fun of stuffing foods shouldn’t be reserved just for the holidays. These creative recipes show you lots of ideas to combine ingredients and textures into one delightful comfort food dish!

These creative stuffed foods recipes prove that combining various ingredients can turn an ordinary dish into an extraordinary meal.

What can be stuffed?

Common vegetables to stuff include bell peppers or larger spicy peppers like poblanos, all manner of hard winter squash like acorn and pumpkins, onions, potatoes, sweet potatoes, mushroom caps, tomatoes, zucchini, apples, artichokes, pasta, and eggplant (to name a few).

Really, you can fill or stuff anything with a natural hole or cavity.

Need to know how to roast a winter squash? Check out my guide to Air fryer Butternut Squash {with oven directions too}.

You can stuff anything after scooping it out to make a hole.

What can be the stuffing?

Well, here’s where you let your imagination run wild. Mixtures of things work well.

Breads, grains, onions, herbs, proteins, and sauces. Leftovers are great for stuffing into things.

If you’ve got some leftover veggies from last night’s dinner, you can toss them with marinara and some orzo. Then pop them in a bell pepper, and cover with cheese and into the oven to heat it all up!

Some of my bowl recipes would be great for turning into stuffing. Try mixing up the ingredients for Winter Grain Bowls, Shrimp and Mexican street corn bowls, Salmon Bowl, or Asian fusion bowl.
