This homemade Asian Plum Chili Dipping Sauce has a well-rounded flavor. It’s sweet, but not overly sweet, with a nice spicy kick to it.

Homemade sauces are the best
So many of those store-bought purchased sauces are flat and just sugary. This is a great way to up the flavor so you get the greatest yumminess! Serve this Dipping Sauce with egg rolls, pot stickers, tofu, any Asian finger foods!
Sauce Recipe Notes
I love to add a spoonful of this to my fried rice too. It adds a bit of depth and flavor to the fried rice that you just don’t get with plain sauces.
I used this brand of sweet chili sauce (Amazon affiliate link), but feel free to use any brand you like.
I also love how easy this is to make a great full flavored Asian dipping sauce at home with just 3 ingredients!

This sauce looks delicious! And it would be a great way to make those eggrolls shine! Making this the perfect appetizer for any occasion!
I love the sweetness and flavors this has. I think it would be great on any seafood like salmon as well
I’m such a fan of making my own sauces but have never tried this. I’m going to bookmark this recipe, thanks!
I love using dried fruits in recipes! This one sounds so vibrant…can’t wait to give it a try!
This sauce sounds really good. I’ll have to try it!
You are so right about the purchased sauces being overly sugary. I love the use of plums both for the wonderful flavor as well as the reduction in refined sugar.
