Freaky Friday
Today’s tailgating snack is courtesy of Lisa’s Dinnertime Dish and Freaky Friday! What’s Freaky Friday, you ask? Michaela at An Affair from the Heart came up with the idea for this old-fashioned blog hop.
In a nutshell Freaky Friday is … I’ve made and shared a recipe from Lisa’s Dinnertime Dish, and she’s made a recipe from someone (a secret that I don’t know who it is yet), and she’s made a recipe from someone, and if you clicked through all the way around all the bloggers, you would get back to my blog.
Thus, a blog hop!
So, if you would be so kind as to hop around and take a look at everyone participating, I promise it’ll be fun, and you’ll get lots of new recipe ideas! Make sure to check below for all the links!

I love Lisa’s blog! She has some amazing recipes. Some of the other recipes I can’t wait to make from Lisa are her Mushroom Sweet Potato Risotto and her Mexican Two Bean Chili.
But, since it’s tailgating snack month, my decision on what to make was really easy! This Pineapple Serrano Hummus is so good and comes together in a snap!
Like Lisa says, “The serrano pepper gives the hummus a kick and the sweetness of the pineapple balances that heat out and gives it a very fresh, slightly sweet flavor. It couldn’t be easier to make, either. Whirl everything together in a food processor or blender and it’s ready in 15 minutes.”
Lisa’s photography is stunning, and her recipes are easy, healthy, and straight forward. Hop on over to her blog and take a look at her yummies!
Pineapple recipes
Pineapple is great as a dessert, like in my Pineapple Macadamia Nut Ice Cream and Lime and Pineapple Parfaits.
It’s also great as a snack, like these Pickled Pineapple.
You’ll also love it as part of a main dish like my Barramundi with Pineapple Salsa.
